New Fabric Inspiration: Timber and Leaf

(photo from Sarah Watts)

Sarah Watts’ new line for Blend Fabrics, Timber & Leaf, has just arrived in the shop and we are all a little smitten with it. The soft pretty palette and refreshing take on the woodsy theme has got us scheming lots of new projects. Foxes, bears, wolves, and birds- oh my!

Here’s some inspiration from around the internet to get your sewing creativity started-

Faith from Fresh Lemons made this gorgeous string pillow.

Debby Kratovil made this foxy little apron, along with several other cute T&L projects. See them all here.

I used the deer and birch print to make a sweet baby swaddler using this free pattern. I think this line is perfect for all sorts of baby things!

scrappy trip along blocks

I love how Amber used some of the prints in her low volume Scrappy trip along blocks. They look great cut up small like that. (And did you know that we are having a class on how to make these very popular blocks on February 9? Call 513-321-0600 to sign up!)

Cherie from You and Mie made this adorable little dress. I think this print would be gorgeous for ladies’ clothing too.

We think this line will be flying off the shelves, so come in and get it while you can!

Aw, thanks for sharing my dress! I was actually trying to find out what this fabric was so I could list it in my post, but couldn’t figure it out. Love the whole line! :)

  3. Heya are using WordPress for your site platform? I’m new to the blog world but I’m trying to get started and create my own. Do you require any coding knowledge to make your own blog? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  4. This design is wicked! You most certainly know how to keep a reader amused. Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Great job. I really loved what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it. Too cool!

  5. Thanks, this site is really practical.|

  6. With thanks for sharing this superb web site.|
