Project Runway Bingo!

Quiz:  What’s not black & white, didn’t cross the road, but is guaranteed to entertain you on Thursday nights?

If you answered Project Runway, you’re right!  The show just started it’s 10th season, and as with previous seasons, I can’t wait for the new episode each week.  If you’ve never watched it, check it out here:  Project Runway at mylifetime.com

For me, there’s nothing better than sewing while watching OTHER people sew.  Add the designer drama, Michael Kors’s snarky comments, and Heidi’s outfits, and it’s divine! (Thank you Michael Kors for that wonderful word!)

Michael: "ohhhh...that IS divine!"

So….the excitement over the Summer Olympics and the new season of Project Runway sparked a conversation around the shop.  We wondered: “What if Project Runway Watching was a competitive sport?”  Well, now it can be!

Introducing:  Project Runway Bingo from sewn studio

We’ve given you four boards, so you can play against your friends.  Can’t find any of those little plastic disks to mark your spaces?  No problem,  we’ve made you some of those, as well:

So, here’s the deal:  Download and print your bingo cards from the links below.  Watch tomorrow’s episode on Lifetime and place a marker on each event or situation you see in the show.  When you’ve covered a complete row (horizontal, vertical or diagnal) yell:  BINGO!

Once you have bingo, leave a comment on this post.  We’ll choose a comment at random on Saturday morning (this gives the dvr users a chance to watch & play), and that commenter will win a 12 piece FQB of Cherry Christmas from Aneela Hoey for Moda Fabrics!!

Download your Bingo cards here: Project Runway bingo cards (set of four). This set of four cards is conveniently formatted to print on letter size paper.

Download your card markers here: Project Runway bingo markers.

I wonder who will be the first to get Bingo……

Good luck!

A new season of PR has started and I didn’t even know it! I’m off to spend the next 3 hours catching up. Great BINGO idea!

  13. Beezus says:

Bingo – so much fun! Thanks for letting us poor folk who have to wait to watch it play! ;) . And if you want to add a new box, you could always have something about one of the contestants not being happy with a fabric choice they made. Or something about Gunnar making a hateful comment about Chris.

  14. Allegory says:

I so would have had a bingo if Tim hadn’t walked away in the middle of saying “make it….” ;)

New square! Tim puts his hand over his mouth when checking progress.

  15. Christy says:

New space: Christopher cries! I have a feeling this one will happen a lot.

  16. Contestant pulls their hair

    thanks! :)

  21. Ei says:

Square idea: Ven three-peats (or pleats?!)

  22. I wasn’t able to participate this week…but I am so there on Thursday! A couple of ideas for squares:

    Nina says something is “lovely”
    Someone designs slacks
    Heidi disagrees with other judges
    Contestant drops out
    Former contestant returns

Thanks for coming up with this!
